I think this statement means that depending on how you look at the things they are going to have a good or a bad meaning. I like this quote because i have seen many people who get compliments but  because they are used to be mean they get the compliment as a criticism. For example, the other day my friend told to his friend that she looked good and what she answered was "stop lying". After she answered that we just look at each other and we changed the subject. People that do not accept compliments are getting a bad attitude towards good comments.  People should look at everything great and colorful or they will not enjoy their life.

Attitude

Defininition: A settle way of thinking or feeling about someone or something
Synonyms: inclination, perspective, reaction, position, standpoint, and orientation
Examples:
Bad attitude
1.- Always assuming that there is something wrong with other people, and never yourself.
2.- Being completely apathetic, uncaring or inconsiderate about the feelings of others or the effect of one's behavior.

Good attitude
1.-Being optimist is an example of good attitude
2.-Having confidence in yourself is another way of showing good attitude

Periodontal

Duties and responsibilities:
As a periodontist, you'll treat patients who have gum disease and other issues in the gums and bones surrounding the jaw. Your work may be surgical or non-surgical and might include tasks like placing implants, developing treatment plans, and providing preventative care. Periodontists work in their own private practices, they may also work in group practice, clinic, dental school, or hospital.

Education:
Students need to complete dental school followed by a residency in periodontics. Dental school takes four years to complete and includes classroom and laboratory instruction. All states require periodontists to be licensed. In order to earn the license, students must pass written and practical exams.

I woul like to be a periodontist, I think their duties are interesting. They do not have too much responsibilities and tasks. The salary is pretty good and the job looks fun. I like this job and i would love to be a periodontist. My dream is to have my own clinic and be a dentist, so i think this is a great opportunity for me.

Honor description

To me honor means having privileges because of good behavior, be respected and seen as a role model.
Integrity in one's beliefs  and actions. 

It is hard to be an honored person but it is even harder to not being one. To be an honorable person is to have privileges over the others as a result of your hard work.

A dishonorable person does not have any privileges due to their bad behavior.

I think that this quote means that when a person is alone is more likely to choose the right but if the same person have wrong "friends" is going to act like them. It is better to be alone if that is going to take you to the high way and accomplish your goals. I believe that good frinds help you to get to your goals, but bad friends make you stuck on a deep hole that is hard to get out from. I personally like this quote because most people do not understand that and they believe that they will never change even if they are with wrong company, and that is definitely a lie because even if you do not want to be a bad person, bad people can change our point of view.

Dental Technician

Duties and responsibilities:
Dental and ophthalmic laboratory technicians and medical appliance technicians construct, fit, or repair devices that increase function in the lives of patients. These devices include dentures, eyeglasses, and prosthetics. They often work in laboratories. Most technicians work full time.

Salary: $33,070

Education: 
There are no specific educational requirements to become a dental  laboratory technician. Most technicians learn their skills on the job. Students must have a high school diploma. Students should take courses in science, mathematics, computer pragramming, and art.

I would love to be a dental technician. This is the first step for my dream job. I like the responsibilities that they have. I think it is interesting that they are able to work with sculptures. I like everything about the job and i would like to become one. Since I can remember i always wanted to be a dentist and I am on my way to accomplish that goal. I took an exam at the university that is recognized for good dentist classes and i am waiting to get accepted.

Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon

Duties and responsibilities:
ENT surgeons are also called Otolaryngology surgeons. They focus on head and neck diseases and disorders.

Education:
Ear, nose, and throat specialists must complete at least five years of training in a surgical residency. This comprises a one-year course in general surgery and a four-year course in otolaryngology. Most start their medical education with a bachelor of science degree, but those with a bachelor of arts degree are also accepted into some medical school programs.

I do not want to be a otolaryngology surgeon but i think it is a great job and i like the tasks.

I think this quote means that you cannot ask someone to do your responsibilities and expect a reward because that would not be you doing it. You cannot have a reward for something you did not do. For example when you have a group activity and the other members of the group do the job for you, then the teacher is going to notice it and you are not going to get credit for it. I like this quote because most of the people believe that they could have someone to do their tasks for them while they are resting and then get the reward, but that is impossible because the harworking person is always going to be the recognized one.

Video Summary

In the video I saw Abraham Lincoln talking to some getleman from Kentucky. The guy asked him to drink and smoke with him. After Abraham said no to the first thing he told the guy a story. That story was about him, his mother, and a promise that he had held to that day about never drinking whiskey or smoking tobacco. The guy with emotion replied to lincoln that he would not force him to break the promise. I like the video because it was about integrity. When you promise something you have to keep the promise and never break it. I do not know if it was a true story but i know that i got something good out of it that i would like to share with the rest of the world, the last sentences. "Do you do what you say you will do? It is a matter of integrity."

I think this quote means that a great life is on our own decisions because depending on how we react to different situations is how we decide our future. Nobody can think for us or choose for us, therefore what we get is the result of our actions. I like this quote because it exposes a good point that not everybody notice, most of the young people follow their parents steps and that is not going to get them anywhere, they have to create their own path. Our happiness depends on us and nobody else. I would like to encourage people to follow their dreams and do not become victims of the "what is people going to say if I do it?" You do not have to care about other's reactions to what you do, you have to feel it on your heart. Your decisions will determine you success or failure.

Clinical Manager

Duties and responsibilities:
Clinical managers might manage an entire facility or specialize in managing a specific clinical area or department, or manage a medical practice for a group of physicians. They must adapt to changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and technology. Most of clinical managers work in offices in healthcare facilities, including hospitals and nursing homes, and group of medical practices.

Education
Most clinical managers have at least a bachelor's degree before entering the field; however master's degree are also common. Requirements vary by facility.


I would like to be a clinical manager because I think it is an interesting job and I like the duties and responsibilities they have. The salary is great and high. It sounds hard but fun. I also like the environment were they work. They are able to work with technology and I think I am pretty good in that aspect. The fact that they have to adapt to changes is difficult because it is not easy to try new things but that is good because they educate better. I like that they are able to have fun while working. I really like this job.

For example i saw a video today where a child called ian catches a baseball and he gives it to a little boy who was sad because he wanted the ball. Then the players called ian and gave him a gift with his favorite players' autographs. That proves that an act of kindness can give you better things. I believe in this quote and i think everybody should be kind to succeed.

Speech Pathologist

Duties and Responsibilities:
Speech and Language Pathologists work with patients who have speech, language, voice, fluency, or swallowing disorders. They work in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, schools, skilled nursing facilities, and private practices. Most full time pathologists work 40 hours per week. Speech-Language pathologists must also do various administrative tasks, including keeping records.

Education:
The standard level of education for speech-language pathologists is a master's degree. Required courses vary by institution. These programs also include supervised clinical practice in addition to coursework. They must be licensed in almost all states. I do not want to be a speech pathologist, though I like the job. the salary is great and the responsabilities are not hard. It is not necessary to be organized and I like that. I think they help people a lot and I respect them. They work the average hour that they supposed to work and I want a full time job. They have to be patiente and I am not, so I do not think this is the right job for me.

I think this quote means that however you picture yourself in the future is how you will be living. I like this quote because if you visualize yourself accomplishing huge things you will be getting them later on. There are people that do not like to visualize themselves with success, those are people that have not set any goals for themselves. I think your mind is so strong that if you imagine yourself being someone important in life you will do whatever it takes to get there.  For example i picture myself everyday getting accepted to the college that i want to go to and i hope it happens in real life, obviously i study almost every day for my admission exam and i know it will happen.

Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician)

Sonographers, or ultrasound technologists, work with equipment that directs very high frequency sound waves into the body tissues to produce images or pictures of internal organs,diseased masses, and fetuses. These images are then used by physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Some sonographers specialize in examining certain areas of the body, such as the brain, the heart, and the pelvis. As part of their responsibilities, sonographers also check patients' medical histories, explain procedures, determine the best patient positions to produce the images, and operate photography and printout equipment. Most sonographers work in hospitals.

Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging courses of science, math and english available in high school.
Sonographer training programs are offered at community colleges and hospitals. They can be completed in one to four years depending on prior work experience. Sonographers must pass annual certification tests after completing training.

I do not want to be a sonographer because they are in constant danger but i think that job is interesting. I like the equipment they use i think it is easy to manage and you are able to learn a lot about the use of technology. They have to deal with more personal stuff with the patients and i do not like that for me. It is not my dream job but i think it is interesting. I went to see a sonographer not too long ago and i did like the job is just that i wouldn't do that for the rest of my life.

I think this quote means that you have to do what is right at all times and if you get something good out of your behavior you are a winner, but if you are cheating you are never going to be a winner you will always be a cheater. I like this quote because many people believe that winning is getting a medal but no, the real winner is the one who sacrifice his or her time training to accomplish whatever dream they had. I would like to encourage people to do what is right without even looking at the award because if they choose the right there is no way to loose.

I do not want to be a Social Worker because i do not like to have long conversations with people. I think they have a grat job but it is not my type of job. I like the fact that they help people with their struggles and theach them how to get them over. I respect this job and all the people that work in it because it is hard.

I think this quote means that for you to succeed you have to take care of your dreams and goals. Nobody can accomplish your goals for you. To make your dreams come true you have to work hard and try to do it. Giving up is not an option for those who want to succeed. I like this quote because i think every person should take care of themselves without expecting help from others. If you want to go far you have to do something that is going to help you to get far. Set your goals and go after them. 

Environmental Health Specialist-Sanitarian

Duties and Responsibilities:
Sanitarians, or environmental health specialists, enforce government regulations and advice and educate clients. They also improve water and sanitation facilities and are involved in improving the quality of community environments.

Educational Requirements:
Students should take college preparatory courses focusing on math and science during high school.
A career as a sanitarian or environmental health specialist requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering. Many jobs require certification and/or a Master's Degree in these, or related fields.


I do not want to be a Sanitarian but i think it is an interesting job because i believe they have the biggest job, with out them we could be dead already. I like this job but i do not think it is the right job for me. Although, i would like to take a course about this. I would love to take care of my family's health myself. I like the equipment they use to be sure the food is eatible. I like to work with technology and this job is all about new technology to have controll over everything that imply food. I recommend this job to people that likes to work with food.
