Oriental Medicine Doctor
Duties and responsibilities:A diplomate of oriental medicine is a practitioner who is certified by the NCCAOM. It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation Diplomate of Oriental Medicine.The practice partners with patients to improve their health with an emohasis on nutrition, lifestyle interventions, supplements, herbs and botanicals, wellness, and mind-body medicine along with conventional medicine.
Salary: $30,000- $150,000
Education:
Oriental medicine doctors must have a master's degree in oriental medicine with at least 3 years of directly related post-licensure experience. DOM license, New Mexico Boards of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. CPR certification or must obtain within 30 calendar days from hire date.
I do not want to be a n oriental medicine doctor because I do not like the duties in this job. The salary is great but i wouldn't enjoy working on this. This job requires a lot of study and i do not like that. I think this career is interesting, however, i wouldn't work on this.
