I think this quote means that if you are good with others and you feel good with yourself that means you are a good person. In the real world no one cares if you feel right but everybody cares if you choose the right. For example, if you treat your friends with respect and amability you are choosing the right. when you try your best are everything that you do, you are choosing the right. If people go with you to talk and for advices you are choosing the right. All those examples are things that good people do. If you are a good person you cannot choose the wrong. Therefore, you will succeed.
